Dr. Stephen Harvey is a full professor in the department of Physiology at the University of Alberta located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has almost 400 career publications related to endocrine physiology, particularly those involving pituitary growth hormone. In addition to a monograph on growth hormone, he is currently editing a book on the therapeutic possible use of growth hormone including its use as a neuroprotectant. Dr. Harvey teaches undergraduate and graduate- level courses on endocrinology/reproduction and neuroscience.
